An article appeared online today in the Desert Sun regarding a convention for Gay Christians. The article had over 359 comments. Only…. you can’t see them. Why?

Gay Christians from across the U.S. and other countries will converge in Palm Springs this week for the Evangelicals Concerned Western Region’s conference.

It will be the group’s first conference in the desert city. The conference workshops, entertainment and activities will take place Wednesday through July 19 at the Holiday Inn, 1800 E. Palm Canyon Drive.

Evangelicals Concerned Western Region is a nationwide organization that encourages and affirms lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Christians in their faith.

“The bottom line of the organization is to help people reconcile their spirituality and know that it’s OK to be gay and Christian,” conference coordinator Michael Darling said.
