Proof of human rights violations against hetero married couples:

Posted on September 20, 2009. Filed under: Dumb Author, Illogical, Irrational, Just Plain Mean, Promotes hate | Tags: , , |

I am on a never ending search for a rational argument against same sex marriage and all of the other rights that are denied to LGBT people. I not only have not found one, it’s getting more and more challenging to find any new arguments. So when I do, I feel compelled to share them.

If only because we all need a laugh.

If you have read any of my blogs, you know I like to analyze reader comments on news articles.

stop the hate image

“A short time later, a group of 8 to 10 children gathered at Zussman Park, across from Hamtramck City Hall. “Vote No!” the children cried. “No homos! No homos! No homos!”

Today’s Hate Speech award goes to a resident of Kalamazoo, Michigan who wears a Northwest Airlines uniform.

Warning: What you are about to read is not for the faint of heart. This is the face of hate. This is the fear that gays and lesbians live with, especially teens. This is unChristian, unhuman, revolting and reprehensible. (more…)

Gays control the weather. Wrong superpower, guys.

Posted on August 16, 2009. Filed under: Don't Practice What Some Preach, Dumb Author, Illogical, Irrational, Just Plain Mean, Promotes hate | Tags: , , |

“In May, our elected officials overturned a law of nature,
and in its place paid honor to evil and unnatural practices.”
– Mike Heath, pastor and anti-gay activist

Mike Heath blames bad weather and poor potato crops in the state of Maine on homosexuals. Which is quite fascinating, given that he lives in South China.

All I can say is, there must have been a whole lotta gay people during the famous Irish potato blight. I will be contacting the university I attended where I received a degree in Plant Pathology. I must have been lied to when I was taught that potato late blight is caused by the fungus Phytophthora infestans.

Rainbow Lounge Raid Follow Up

Posted on August 7, 2009. Filed under: Great Reader Comment | Tags: , |

3cents commented “All people, even those you don’t agree with, deserve equal protection under the law”
A follow up story on the raid of a gay bar in Fort Worth. Yes, policies were violated. Important policies like….. they didn’t wear the right uniforms.
Whew! Glad we got that investigation cleared up. It would have all been ok if they had worn the right uniforms. Because giving someone a concussion with internal bleeding in their brain is ok.

Marriage should not be an emotional union

Posted on August 4, 2009. Filed under: Dumb Author, Great Reader Comment | Tags: , , |

“If marriage is redefined, its connection to organic bodily union—
and thus to procreation—will be undermined.
It will increasingly be understood as an emotional union for the sake
of adult satisfaction that is served by mutually agreeable sexual play”

Mr. George, Professor of Jurisprudence at Princeton University.

Domestic Partnerships and Booger Eating

Posted on August 4, 2009. Filed under: When you know someone who is gay | Tags: , |

William posted on the Capital Times, newspaper for Madison, WI, after a long dissertation on why he opposes domestic partnerships, this comparison between being gay and other behaviors.
Most people frown on booger eating, should that be a protected civil right?  What about public intoxication or nudity?  There are a host of unaccepted social behaviors – should people be given the “civil right” to engage in them?
But don’t worry. Plenty of readers gave William the feedback he so desperately needed.

Yea. Stop that coming out of the woodwork.

Posted on August 2, 2009. Filed under: Thumbs Down | Tags: |

I’ve noticed on other threads that whenever someone posts a gay-bashing comment, queers come out of the woodwork. People from all over. People who never even heard of El Dorado. It’s like they all text one another to come jump in and ram some more crap down out throats. Oh, sorry. That sounded bad.
